A 3D Printed Violin? Introducing 3DVarius.

The team at the Tech Ranch caught this demo of the 3DVarius at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.  Here is a little of what we learned about 3DVarius.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign that ended in June 26th, 3DVarius has ben actively producing what can only be described as a collision of art and music.  The company uses a special 3D printing process using a photoreactive liquid resin to build the instrument layer by layer.

You can order from a collection of pre-designed violins or you can create you own.  The concert quality electric violin may come at a premium price, but we are sure the owners of this unique piece will be the talk of the venues they play at.

More information can be found their website.
