The “Guru of Geek” will be on the CES floor in 2017 at the convention center in Las Vegas. Look for daily reports back to Town Square Media, 2 live shows on The Tech Ranch from the Las Vegas Convention Center, Streaming programming on twitter and facebook as well as recorded interviews. Marlo has attended CES for over 15 years. This will be the 6th year of coverage with the Tech Ranch. As host of the Tech Ranch as well as his work on the Autonomous Friendly Corridor, expect exclusive reports on those involved in development of automated vehicles and UAV’s (drones).
With his many years of experience behind the camera as well as the soundboard, Greg is excited to be part of the Tech Ranch team for CES 2017. Greg is inquisitive and that shows as he works for camera angles that take in the essence of the interview and the technology being discussed. You may even see or hear Greg occasionally during CES coverage for his unique perspective.
When Greg has some down time, you will find him enjoying locally made wines and hearing the history of the places he visits. Greg also enjoys politics and will usually be seen in his hometown of Casselton, ND in a friendly debate about an issue. He is also an advocate for building and bringing business to his home state of North Dakota.
Alice is back for her 15th straight year at CES. As the show producer for the Tech Ranch during CES, her experience and knowledge will help the team cover the technology that is important to those that follow the show. Alice has been on the CES Floor as producer the last four seasons and is looking forward to the event this year.
Alice also enjoys creating amazing desserts. During the holidays, she will spend countless hours preparing over 40 different types of chocolate goodies that are enjoyed by many of her friends and family.
Matt Peak is a business and policy strategist, facilitator, and consultant with over 15 years of experience catalyzing promising transportation, automotive, and clean energy enterprises and organizations.
Matt holds multiple advanced degrees that reflect his deep knowledge of business, energy, and transportation strategies and platforms. He has a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), an M.S. in environmental policy from The London School of Economics (LSE), and a second master’s degree (M.B.A.) from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.
Matt has authored numerous publications on automotive, energy, and power generation technologies and policies as well as citations, including in Thomas Friedman’s Hot, Flat, and Crowded.
