Long article, busy hands? Let your iPhone read it to you.
Listen Instead of Reading
Recipes, news, long howβto articles: Safari can read them out loud. It’s great while you cook, walk or rest your eyes. It needs iOS 17 or newer.
Listen to Page
Open an article in Safari, tap the page menu button at the left of the address bar, then tap Listen to Page. Tap the speaker to pause or change the speed.
Good to Know
It works best on article pages. You can also just say “Siri, read this to me.”
Bonus Tip: Speak Screen
Turn on Speak Screen in Settings βΊ Accessibility βΊ Read & Speak, then swipe down with two fingers from the top of the screen to hear whatever’s on it.
