Typing out a receipt or a Wi‑Fi card? Google Lens can copy the words for you.

Open Google Lens

Open the Google app and tap the camera icon in the search bar: that’s Lens. Point it at the words and tap the shutter. The Google app comes on every Android phone.

Select and Copy

Touch and drag over the words you want and tap Copy text. Paste it into a text, email or note. It works on screenshots and saved photos too.

Handy Uses

Wi‑Fi passwords on a card, a recipe from a cookbook, a serial number on the back of a gadget. No typing, no typos.

Bonus Tip: Translate a Menu

In Lens, tap the Translate tab and point at a sign or menu. The words change right on your screen.
