Reaching all the way up to the corner for the back button? Press Alt + Left Arrow instead. You go back one page, and every press takes you back one more.
The Shortcut
- Alt + Left Arrow: back one page
- Works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox
- Mac: ⌘ + [ or ⌘ + Left Arrow
Bonus Tip: Alt + Right Goes Forward
Went back too far? Alt + Right Arrow goes forward again. On a Mac, use ⌘ + ] or ⌘ + Right Arrow. And if your mouse has side buttons, they do back and forward, too.
