Your taskbar apps have secret numbers. Count from the left and press Windows key + that number. The third app? Win + 3.
The Shortcut
- Win + 1, 2, 3… open taskbar apps by position
- Count from the left, skipping Start and Search
- Already open? It switches to it
- Works on Windows 10 and Windows 11
Bonus Tip: Win + T
Press Windows key + T to move through your taskbar icons one at a time. Keep tapping T, then press Enter to open the one you want.
