Mail, Safari and your budget all piled on top of each other? Press Control + Up Arrow. Mission Control spreads every window out so you can pick the one you need.

The Shortcut

  • Control + ↑: Mission Control
  • Every open window, side by side
  • Click one to jump to it
  • On a trackpad: swipe up with three fingers

Bonus Tip: App Exposé

Control + ↓ shows just the windows of the app you’re using. Perfect when you have several Safari windows open.
