- Control + ⌘ + Q: lock the screen
- Your apps and windows stay open
- Unlock with your password or Touch ID
- On Windows: Windows key + L
Bonus Tip: Log Out with ⌘ + Shift + Q
Sharing the Mac with family? Press ⌘ + Shift + Q to log out. Your Mac asks first, then the next person can sign in to their own account.
