Need to fix the first letter of a long line? On a Mac, press Command + Left Arrow and the cursor jumps right to the start.

The Shortcut

  • ⌘ + ←: start of the line
  • ⌘ + →: end of the line
  • Windows: Home and End

Bonus Tip: Word by Word

Option + ← / → hops one word at a time. Add Shift to select as you go. On Windows: Ctrl + ← / →.
