Laptop hooked up to a big monitor? Press Windows key + Shift + Right Arrow and the window jumps to the other screen, same size and all.

The Shortcut

  • Win + Shift + → / ←: move to the other screen
  • Works with a second monitor or a TV
  • Windows 10 and Windows 11

Bonus Tip: Stretch It Tall

Windows key + Shift + Up Arrow stretches the window top to bottom and keeps its width.
